100 Things I believe...

-Jesus is the Son of God.. all man & all God.. that He is the Way, the Truth & the Life & no one comes to the Father except through Him..
John 14:6
-God is a God of love, & mercy & justice.
-Jesus lives in me... & that's an awesome thing!
-the Bible is the inspired Word of God.
-I can only be saved by asking Jesus to forgive my sins & accepting His gift of eternal life... life forever with Him.
-we can know with all certaintly where we will spend eternity.
-my life, since accepting Jesus as my Saviour, is so much better than before.
-justice doesn't always happen here on earth.
-bad things can happen to good people.
-one day every wrong will be corrected.
-God created all things.
-all babies should be allowed to live... & old people too; not so much kept alive by machinery, but by care & medical help.
-God blesses obedience.
-many of God's promises have conditions for us to do.
-people seem to spend a lot of money & not be all that happy.
-people in Mexico have a lot less, but smile a lot more.
-God created the family & the church & they are each important to Him.
-I can't outgive God.
-who you are when no one is watching... is who you are.
-there's truth in the saying... what goes around, comes around.
-we should praise God on the outside, in the way we are praising Him on the inside.
-too many people are judgmental.
-young people can have a great witness for God.
-one choice can affect our whole life in a good way... or bad.
-respect for authority is important.
-I'd rather be taken advantage of than hold my possessions too tightly.
-everything we have is a gift from God.
-church is the people... not the building.
-we have a responsiblity to help those less fortunate.
-we can make a difference.
-many people think they are Christians & haven't given it very much thought.
-one day that decision will be the only one that matters.
-parents have a responsibility to instruct their children in meaningful ways.
-too much emphasis can be put on earning money & not on integrity & character & things of spiritual significance.
-boys are sensitive & that's a quality to nurture.
-those who learn to live within their means are most happy.
-we all waste some money, but must save that amount in another way.
-children really want good role models to look up to... me too.
-consistency in parenting is most important.
-it's difficult to find times of quiet & solitude, but we all need them.
-at times it seems more attention is being given to saving animals than people.
-one day we'll see Jesus face to face & every knee will bow.
-actions say much more than words, but sometimes words are needed too.
-encouragement is a great motivater.
-thinking "outside the box" can be tough, but worth it.
-I can worry too much about what other people will think.
-doing the right thing is always the right thing.
-to be "in step" with the Spirit feels so good.
-some people are "joy stealers"; but only if I let them.
-I'd rather be part of the solution than part of the problem.
-I can compromise on most everything, except the Gospel message.
-when I'm "in" over my head, it's much easier to rely on God's strength & power.
-eternity is forever...
-friendship is a gift from God.
-it's easier to tell people what they want to hear... but shallow.
-those who have challenged me to strive to do better, care most about me.
-it's easy to assume we'll live a long life.
-our priorities are reflected in the way we spend our time & our money.
-our churches (& most places) would be better if we could mesh the wisdom of the old & the passion of the young.
-to feel misunderstood is such a bad feeling.
-Alpha is a tool God is using to share Truth & build His kingdom.
-true, authentic Christianity is attractive & inviting.
-God is always working... those times when we see Him & even when we don't.
-eternity goes on forever.
-prayer is a powerful thing.
-we are created for relationship with God & others.
-we are fearfully & wonderfully made.
-when we accept Jesus as our Lord & Saviour, our eternity with Him begins.
-many times God's love is shown through other people... we have the privilege to be "reflectors" of His love...
-love is always a giving word... putting someone else's best before ours.
-God created the family & the church-each are important to Him & should be to us.
-most people really don't want to know how you're doing when they ask.
-when you're working in your passion & giftedness, you can miss a meal & not notice.
-real peace isn't dependent on circumstance.
-knowledge without experience is not very meaningful.
-it's difficult to convince someone of something if you're not really sold on the idea.
-when things are going wrong... real character is revealed more quickly.
-second chances are a good thing... sometimes third & fourths too.
-God's power is revealed in thunder & ocean waves & that small whisper we hear from Him.
-seeing people choose to live for Jesus & obey Him is exciting.
-20% of the people do 80% of the work/ministry... but they are the most blessed.
-praise silences the avenger.
-sometimes we forget, but we have way more to be thankful for than to complain about.
-people that are truly wise, don't have to tell you that...
-everyone needs a good friend.
-most things that are worthwhile require a sacrifice of some kind.
-in difficult times, true character shines brighter.
-we do become like the people we hang around with.
-we are not called to go & make "Christians", but disciples of Jesus.
-my worth is not determined by what other people think.
-to see the world as Jesus does, gives clearer perspective.
-it's easier to excuse the faults & shortcomings in myself than in others.
-people always have time for the things that matter to them.
-forgiveness means to tell God "we're sorry" & turn away from the sin... 180 degrees away.
-people seem to joke about sin; even brag & think it's funny. One day they won't.
-people are the only treasures we can take to heaven with us.
-we're not called to be successful, just faithful.
-God is faithful when things are going good & when they're not.
-it's easy to take our health for granted when we feeling good.
-my children & grandchildren are my greatest blessings... that they love, serve & obey Jesus means most to me!
