stand UP... stand OUT

Romans 12:2 "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will." That's our theme for a new camp season... may we stand UP & stand OUT in all good ways!

It's exciting to see our staff team come together once again. A new baby boy born to Ken & Corrie, Simpson Hunter Kirk, has been a wonderful distraction the past couple of weeks, but camp work days have been profitable. Much has been accomplished as we work toward the goal of sharing the love & Truth of Jesus with a world so in need. Many campers come to our camp completely unaware of Bible stories & teachings. They may come for the good time, friendships & games, but it's our prayer that they will go away with far more. It's our prayer that we communicate clearly the saving message of Jesus Christ, that they sense their need for a Saviour & enter into a relationship with King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The CSSM mission statement is so good: to present & promote the Gospel, to evangelize the lost & disciple the converted.

So gearing up, getting ready... details & remembering afresh it's not our camp, but God's. It's His ministry... humbled that He chooses to use us. May we be attentive to His leading & may He do what only He can... all praise & glory to Him!
